Nicholas Rios is a Graphic Designer & Illustrator from La Puente, California. Born in Los Angeles to machinist Ismael Rios and preschool teacher Gloria Rios, Nicholas felt that becoming a graphic designer sort of landed square in the middle of both of those professions.
Nicholas received his BFA in Graphic Design from California Polytechnic State University—Pomona. While studying there, the wonderful faculty transformed his love for the letterforms on metal band albums to a love for the letterforms of typography.
Always willing to learn and never afraid of a challenge, Nicholas's style, versatility, and skillset has led to him working with prominent Los Angeles brands Homage Brewing and SOFGEL.
When he is not somewhere in the process of a new project, he's trying to learn to play something on the piano, walking his beautiful dog L.B., or more likely, cooking something delicious. Seriously, his food is great and he should have done something with that instead of the whole design thing.
